1st Croatian Conference on Sports Related Brain Injuries, June 15-17, 2017
Sports related concussions are an intensely focused international subject. Short & long term outcome, and impact of repetitive injuries remain an area of great interest and research focus. The field of sports related concussions has rapidly changed and is the topic of much international discussion in the medical community.
This conference will be the first of its kind in Croatia. It will bring together numerous national and internationally recognized speakers, with the intention to present updated knowledge and scientific advances in the area of sports related brain injuries.
We invite neurologists, psychiatrists, neuroscientists, psychologists, sports medicine physicians, speech therapists, physiotherapists, kinesiologists, social workers, nurses, medical technicians, therapists, pharmacists, lawyers, sociologists, journalists and all others to attend interested to actively contribute to the Congress.
The conference will provide not just Croatia, but Central and Eastern European clinicians, scientists, and medical personnel the latest advances and information. Additionally, it will allow us to socialize, get to know each other, and bring together the very best from East & West.
Participants can expect to:
• Apply learned knowledge to the diagnosis and treatment of
concussion
• Apply their skills to all areas of development: from children to
professional athletes
• Better understand concussions starting with prevention all the
way to recovery.

Poster size should not exceed the height of 120 cm and width of 90 cm. The organizers recommend that all posters should be provided in vertical format.
Title, authors and affiliations should be stated clearly in the beginning of the poster. The text should be organized in sections: Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results, Conclusion and References.
The Poster sessions will require the author's presence during the specified period.
