Project aims

Project aims:
- acquisition of new knowledge about biologic processes responsible for development of pain in diabetic neuropathy, by using existing rat models of diabetes type 1 and 2
- identification of potential therapeutic targets for treating pain in diabetic neuropathy
- better methodological characterization of rat models of diabetes
- capacity building for researching diabetic neuropathy in Croatia.
