New decision online teaching

Pursuant to Article 43 of the Statute of the School of Medicine in Split (hereinafter the School), of the Decision on necessary epidemiological measures restricting gatherings and introducing other necessary measures and recommendations to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 disease through gatherings CLASS: 810-06/20-01/7 REG. NO.: 511-01-300-20-199, adopted on 25 October 2020 by the Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia, the Dean, after the session of the Dean's Board, on 7 October 2020 brought the following

1. In line with the course and spreading of the epidemic of COVID-19 disease caused by the SARSCoV-2 virus, as well as the Decisions of the Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia adopted on 25 October 2020 and in line with raising safety measures to a higher level, the organization of teaching at the School will change so that in all study programs where it is not possible to follow the recommendations on keeping social distance indoors, all lectures and seminars will be done remotely (online) until further notice using the Moodle/Merlin platform or in real time using the Teams platform.

2. Taking the specifics of study programs at the School of Medicine into consideration, all clinical and preclinical practicals in all study programs are conducted in person with the prescribed anti-epidemic measures and protocols of healthcare institutions with the recommendation to shorten the duration of practicals.

3. Students and employees are required to wear masks in all indoor areas of the School as well as outside in the immediate vicinity of the School building.

4. This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its adoption and shall be published on the News page of the School’s website and is valid until revoked.
