The Postgraduate Specialist Study Program in Sleep Medicine is an advanced one-year program designed to train physicians, dental medicine doctors, or clinical psychologists as certified Somnologists - Sleep Medicine Experts. The curriculum is fully developed according to the official European Sleep Research Society (ESRS) guidelines and the Catalogue of Knowledge and Skills for Sleep Medicine, ensuring international recognition and alignment with the highest European standards.

  • Neurobiology and physiology of sleep
  • Diagnostic tools and clinical assessment
  • Sleep-related breathing disorders
  • Insomnia and circadian rhythm disorders. Hypersomnias, parasomnias, and sleep-related movement disorders
  • Societal, economic, organizational, and research aspects of sleep medicine
