COMPETENCES TO BE ACQUIRED
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in terms of clinical features, epidemiology, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the most common infectious diseases, indications for their hospital treatment, an understanding of the basic principles of antimicrobial treatment and basic principles of preventing infections.
Basic concepts of general infectology, the most common infectious diseases and syndromes, principles of diagnostics of infectious diseases, rational antimicrobial therapy and prophylaxis of communicable and non-comminicable infectious diseases, infections of immunocompromised host.
